Exploring Dublin

Today’s visit is a quick one to the Chester Beatty Library, a place not to overlook when you’re in town, especially if you enjoy history. The library is adjacent to Dublin Castle.IMG_8167.jpeg

IMG_8174.jpegOutside the library, within the castle walls, is a lovely garden.  IMG_8177.jpeg

Inside are the promised Thai Buddhist Tales of Karma and enlightenment, on display until January. I’ve not included the fragile pieces, as the room was very dim to protect them.

Upstairs from the Thai Buddhism show, many more pieces are displayed.

Finally, at the end of my visit I had lunch at the Silk Road Cafe, on of my favorite places to find great food.

Do you have a favorite spot that you enjoy visiting, time and time again?
